Sometimes we get so busy using technology in our class that we forget to make sure we know the basics of the machines we are using! So over the next few weeks, we will be working through the parts of a computer and their functions. We will have a lot of fun with this, and will take the time we need to make sure we understand each part and what it does. We will look at pictures of the parts, color pictures, find them on the computer, find them in the school (for example modems and wireless access points), learn to spell the names of the parts, oh... the list goes on and on!
When we are done with the unit, your student will have also completed a fun coloring book of computer parts to take home and share. I will update the wiki to let you know what we covered each week.
