Today we will continue to learn how to work in Microsoft Word. We will learn to open a document, use the CAPS LOCK, and type our name, some numbers, the alphabet, and a few more fun words.
We will remember the Enter, Space, Backspace, and begin to know where the letters can be found!
We will take this further by typing our spelling words, changing the font size, and the color of the text.
Post Class Notes Today we reviewed the following: Icon, desktop, taskbar, volume control, how to change font color and font size, how to use the arrows, backspace, and enter key to move around the document, how to highlight a line by clicking all the way left, how to highlight one word by click and drag and by hover-double click. The class began the 2nd exercise.
Students are assessed on a 10 point scale. Points range from 7 (basic understanding) to 10 (mastery and ready to learn more!)
Were directions followed?
Were computer rules followed?
Did the student complete the lesson?
What areas did the student struggle with/where did they excel?
