Today we will discuss what we shared with our families about Bad Netiquette, and what it means to have Good Netiquette (and etiquette for that matter!).
We are then going to create our postersthat we hope to enter into the NetSmartzKids Movie Poster Contest. Any student who has returned the permission slip will have their poster entered into the contest. If parents do not want their child's poster in the contest, that is perfectly fine - I will not distinguish one from the other with the students. My plan is that each child will have their picture taken with their final poster - that way families can see the cool posters that are made!
Assessment
Students will be assessed on discussion participation, on task behavior, ensuring the phrase "Bad Netiquette Stinks" is on their poster, and that the poster reflects an understanding of bad and good netiquette.
