Mother's Day Cards in TuxPaint

Today we will make cards for Mother's Day in TuxPaint. We can make a card for Mom, Grandma, a favorite Aunt, neighbor, nanny, babysitter - they can decide. We will create the image in TuxPaint, then snip it and paste it into Power Point. We will then print on the color printer. If we finish early, we can play on the Sprouts page!

Earth Day
Activity

Once we've had this discussion, we will talk about and celebrate Earth Day (which is Sunday) and take the Earth Day Quiz.
Look for your student's really cool coloring sheet for a link to the site we visited... also, let them share the fun games they played in class! We will begin by discussing Five Ways We Can Help Save the Planet, then we will learn to sort recyclables with the gameClean Up Your World, find and sort recyclables in Michael, Michael, Please Recycle!, and wrap up the day by finding the recyclables in Free the Beach!

Navigating to Easter!

Today's class will be spent getting ready for Easter. On the SDS Sprouts page there are several activities related to navigation, decision making, and Easter fun.
We will begin class with a computer parts review, an internet safety review, and will then have some fun with the Easter activities. We will color eggs, find the differences, find the eggs, and write words on eggs using the alphabet!
